Description
Metal Helmets are the heaviest pieces of headgear available. They have some damage resistances and thresholds, decreased chance to be critically hit, but also hefty armor penalty, relatively heavy weight and penalties to perception and detection. They also can be optionally enhanced with a headlamp component, at no armor penalty.

Type and quality of metal plates determine the helmet's durability, damage resistances and thresholds, armor penalty and weight.
Steel Helmet — Increases Mechanical and Energy damage resistance and threshold, 20% armor penalty
Tungsten Steel Helmet — Increases Mechanical and Energy damage resistance and threshold, 22% armor penalty
TiChrome Helmet — Increases Mechanical, Heat and Energy damage resistance and threshold, 15% armor penalty
