Mycokardia is a plot item in Deep Caverns. It can be found on the remains of Pulsating Roots deep in the Mushroom Forest. It is easy to miss the actual mycokardia, the pulsating roots actually have three hotspots, though it might seem like they have two.
To be transported to the area from which the pulsating roots are reachable you have to get 15 stacks of Spore Infection. Alternatively, player can jump down the hole here (dc-f7.png) in order to reach the tunnels below the forest. You can then travel back by climbing through the remains of the pulsating roots.
It is used to manufacture Psimorphic Biocide Grenades necessary to open the gate leading to Tchort.
