Creatures are the indigenous wildlife in the subterranean world of Underrail.

Most of them are mutated surface species adapted to living underground, but some common animals like dogs still exist in Underrail.

Respawning

Most sub-human (Eg. Rathound) creatures will respawn within two hours of game time. Plants such as Mindshrooms also respawn in the same manner.

From experience they will not spawn on the same screen as the player, but will the second their respawn timer has passed and the player moves to a new screen.

Some human creatures won't respawn because this would break immersion of the storyline.
