Egg
Burrower eggs can be laid by adult burrowers even in mid-combat. They will hatch into spawn within 2 turns unless destroyed prior to hatching. This can make fleeing from burrowers a bad choice, since they will just keep laying eggs and you will be overwhelmed by the spawn.
Only the targetable Tab, Z eggs hatch, the stationary backdrop eggs in burrower hives do not.
