Tactical Vest is an is an armor suit. All infobox examples on this article are crafted from Quality 50 components unless noted otherwise.
Description
Armor suit that can range anywhere from low to high armor penalty depending on the components used. It consists of a vest and a ballistic panel and can also use various optional overcoat fabrics. All tactical vests have 200% increased Mechanical damage threshold against firearms. An optional armor plate can be added to increase damage thresholds, weight and armor penalty.
Tactical vest is similar to Riot Gear, the main difference being an armor plate instead of a hand-held riot shield. Tactical vests also have lower base armor penalty, provide more protection against bullets but less against melee attacks. Compared to Leather Armor, it can provide additional benefits even at the same armor penalty and allow a mix of stealth, mobility, damage avoidance and absorption, thanks to its versatile components.
