Acid Spray is a special ranged attack used by Mutants. It rapidly shoots six acid blobs that each deal Acid damage if they hit, and they seem to bypass energy shields completely. The range of this attack is a little bit shorter than the range of their Intimidate ability.
Not to be confused with the "acid sprays out on blob impact" in Acid Blob Pistol description. It simply means it sprays acid on the floor around target, similarly how acidic mutants bleed acid when they take damage.
