Plasma Turret is a type of turret.

Description

Plasma Turrets are advanced stationary defense turrets employed by Foundry Guard, the Protectorate and few advanced robotic facilities.

Similar to Auto-Turrets in most aspects, except much more deadly. Like hand-held plasma weaponry, their devastating attacks deal half Heat, half Energy damage.

Fighting tactics

As with all turrets, their immobility is their greatest weakness. Use corners to your advantage and do not leave yourself unnecessarily exposed to return fire.

They have fairly high Mechanical, Heat and Cold resistances, but no Electricity resistance whatsoever.

EMP grenades and mines can disable them for 2-3 turns.
