| The shard is about seven centimeters long and looks more like two different items being held together by some unnatural force. One item being made from some strange rock while the other being some manner of crystal which gives out prismatic glow but is not able to illuminate any other object. The more of the one side of the shard you see, the more the whole shard seems to assume the non-visual properties of that side - such as weight, temperature, and surface texture. | |||

The Shard is a plot item in Underrail: Expedition.
Location
The shard is found in the Sørmirbæren graveyard, past the Boneyard at coordinates G10. In order to successfully find it, the player must first speak to the Ferryman about the relics he's found, and then the shard. Learning about his encounter with the Serpentines will allow you to discuss the Ferryman and Sjörsr with Yngwar, and if you're able to persuade him, he'll draw the Rune Sketch which marks Sjörsr's grave.
