Contributing to the wiki

There are many ways in which you can help. Don't be afraid to edit and create articles!

Improving existing articles

Adding missing stuff to navboxes/lists

Most content should be listed on the wiki, but if you see something missing, please add it!

Navboxes can be edited via the v-d-e links in their upper left corner.

Feats (transcription)

All feats up to 0.1.9.1 are in the wiki, but some might be outdated

• feat infobox and how to use it
• Aimed Shot example page
• Category:Feat icons list of all feat icons. they all follow Feat_name_icon.png naming scheme.

Items

• Check items with example stats and fill in the stat ranges or check if the example is okay.

Quests

• Detail pages; write walkthroughs, etc.
• all quests up to 0.1.9.1 should be listed

Characters, Creatures/Robots

Detail pages; add any missing data to infoboxes.

Locations

Detail pages; most are stubs or redirects to larger area.

Building new wiki content

Check out the wanted pages for a list of frequently linked-to pages that don't yet exist. Feel free to create any of them!

Quests

Add any missing quests!

• Check out the quest infobox
• Other quest pages can work as examples
• Also add it to the relevant navbox

Items

Want to add missing item pages to the wiki?

• or use other item pages as examples
• Also add any additions to relevant item navboxes.
• Category:Item icons for a list of already uploaded item icons.
• Template:ComponentGroup will also be helpful if you're working with blueprint pages

Abilities

Want to add the missing abilities like psi powers to the wiki?

• ability infobox and how to use it
• or use the existing ability pages, like Stealth Mode or Telekinetic Punch, for reference
• Feat abilities should go to relevant feat page; no need for two pages and disambig.

Characters, Creatures/Robots

Wanna add these to the wiki?

• character infobox template and all its parameters
• Come up with a way of organizing characters into navboxes.

Locations

• Create a list of all map areas aka zones -> use as zones navbox
• There's also the location infobox and rough navbox
  • Come up with a clean hierarchy and organize location pages & navbox

Uploading content images

Abilities, psi powers, status effects, and some items still need icons

• Check Category:Item icons for already uploaded item icons
• File:Misc icon.png#filelinks for pages that still lack icons

Missing icons need some editing work

• Category:Exported images has all the game icon files
• Icons should be 33x33 or 35x35 PNG with transparent (or at least black) background

Screenshots and editing!

• All NPCs could use an image (100px high)
• All mobs could use an image (100px high)
• Every map area could use a map image if you have a way to make one
• Quests can optionally have images as well

Quality assurance

The usual wiki cleanup stuff.

• Tag dubious information with {{verify}} or help verify information in existing articles.
• Help expand some article stubs.
• Check content articles for typos and/or bad grammar.
• Improve syntax/formatting as you see fit. Try to have a common theme among articles of similar topics.
• Add pages to correct categories by adding [[Category:Category's name]] on the page.
• Check for any internal links to disambiguation pages and fix them.
• Create some links on dead end pages and create links to some orphaned pages.
• Fix any double redirects by redirecting the first page to the third page. Also check for broken redirects and fix them.
