Contributing to the wiki

There are many ways in which you can help. Don't be afraid to edit and create articles!

Improving existing articles

Adding missing stuff to navboxes/lists

Most content should be listed on the wiki, but if you see something missing, you can add it via edit links.

Navboxes can be edited via the v-d-e links in their upper left corner.

Feats transcription

All feats are in the wiki, but most of them are in temporary image format and need to be transcribed into text

• feat infobox and how to use it
• Aimed Shot example page
• Category:Feat icons list of all feat icons. they all follow Feat_name_icon.png naming scheme.

update Quests

• Missing additions from 0.1.7.0 to 0.1.8.0
• Check quest names from in-game data.

Characters, Creatures/Robots, Locations

write stuff, expand stubs, categorize pages. no infoboxes yet.

Building new wiki content

Check out the wanted pages for a list of frequently linked-to pages that don't yet exist. Feel free to create any of them!

Quests

• needs to be split into subpages, one per quest.
  • detail quests; walkthrough, rewards, etc

Items

Want to add missing item pages to the wiki? Here are the infoboxes you need and their docs:

• blueprints, components, weapons, armor, all other items
• or use other item pages as examples
• Category:Item icons for a list of already uploaded item icons. You don't need to add an icon to item infoboxes.

Psi powers

Want to add the missing psi powers to the wiki?

• psi infobox and how to use it
• or use one of the existing psi pages for reference

Characters

• create a proper character infobox template. please use Template:Infobox common style as its main style.
  • write missing character pages

Locations

• create a list of locations per areaname(visible in saved games)
  • come up with a hierarchy and organize location pages & navbox

Uploading content images

• export, edit and upload images from game data with an XNB exporter
  • All feats need proper transparent images
  • psi abilities need images
  • item with composite icons need to be built and uploaded (item icons should be 35x35 or 33x33 PNG with alpha background)
• screenshots and editing!
  • all npcs could use an image
  • all monsters could use an image
  • every area could use a map image

Quality assurance

• Check content articles for typos and/or bad grammar.
• Improve syntax/formatting as you see fit.
• Add pages to correct categories by adding [[Category:Category's name]] on the page.
• Help expand some article stubs.
• Fix any double redirects by redirecting the first page to the third page.
• Check for broken redirects and fix them.
• Create links to some orphaned pages.
• Create some links on dead end pages.
