Deep Worm is a critter.
Description
Deep worms live in the Labyrinth of Deep Caverns, where they move unseen by tunneling through rock until disturbed.
They are notable as the only source of Clean Blastema and Corrosive Acid.
Fighting tactics
Deep worms have both ranged and melee attacks, but they won't try to melee targets with heavy armor before they have corroded it with their acid.
They dig through rock without expending movement or action points and the labyrinth caves are small, so kiting them is completely impossible.
Avoiding deep worms is fairly easy. They won't see you while underground and they won't hear you moving in Stealth Mode regardless of your stealth skill. If you bump into a Giant Grub, stop moving until you can enter stealth mode again. Take care not to bump into any deep worms.
