Easiest build in the game is TC, so yes.

Not Greirat, Grey Rathound (i.e. Grey Fox)

I think that Coral should move in after you max the place out. It would be in keeping with her character, definitely.

I still think that d5 bolts might work better.

Sounds very good. I'll have to try this after my current shotgun build.

Suggestions / An ability to target traps?
« on: February 06, 2023, 05:29:28 am »
Should you be able to target traps (specifically mines) with weapons or psi abilities? It's entirely possible that this wouldn't add anything to the game, but I think it would make sense that you could shoot a mine if you can see it. Perhaps trap targeting would require a special feat?

I can't say that I have any experience with Steamdeck, but if this is happening to multiple people, you should probably send Styg an email or message him on the discord.

I'm not much of an expert on the exact mechanics of the game, but there are guys on the discord who could probably shed some light on what's going wrong.

I'm pretty sure that Will does this, but a general stun-resist stat could be really good.

I can't imagine a new player not just reloading until they get the right options, but it is conceivable that some pig leather enjoyers might want to kill the Tchortists for whatever reason.

While I agree that it makes sense for him to be more powerful, I think that the reasons for him being not very powerful are that you aren't really supposed to kill the Tchortists and that Cytosine Outpost doesn't really have anything that would warrant a powerful named enemy.
If Eidein's quarters/elevator were accessible, there would probably be items in there warranting a more powerful Stavros.

So I've been told. But lack of evidence for something existing is different to evidence of that thing not existing. Feel free to smite me or whatever, but I figure it's still worth keeping an eye out.

General / Faceless Medallion Use?
« on: January 31, 2023, 01:36:06 am »
I was just talking to dude, and I moved my cursor off of the text box, and realised that the invalid sign for the cursor is identical to the Faceless Medallion. This could be a coincidence, but has anyone tried moving around the map until the medallion possibly changes shape?

It's probably just a coincidence, but you never know.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but I think that enemies with tasers would need their own name (i.e. Ironhead [Class]). And on the topic of parts quality and chance to stun, I would say that you're definitely on the right track.
I would wonder, though, what would be the point, in that case, of parts over a certain quality? Would it be similar to Electroshock Aura or Electrokinesis in that it could damage (or have a lowered chance to stun) adjacent enemies?

I would say that their chance to stun, as opposed to a guaranteed stun (like Electrokinesis) already stops them from being overpowered. That's just my opinion, though.

P.S. Sentrybots will occasionally use a taser, and one of the mechanics in SGS also has a line of dialog that alludes to this before you run into any.
