Another bug: If you stand in a doorway and save, when you load, the door will be closed and your character stuck in the door.

Does it happen with all doors or just some specific one, and if so, could you tell us its location?

First Blizzard game I ever played was Warcraft 2, and I really loved that game. Still do, I recently played the expansion, Beyond the Dark Portal, again. It was awesome! :D
After that I played Starcraft, which was a whole different beast. One of my favorite strategy games ever, and favorite Blizzard game, no doubt. Still have it installed on my PC. Later I played Diablo, WC3 and of course The Lost Vikings somewhere along the way, which is also a fun game.

They really used to make cool games. I play SC2 too, but something is just missing. Even with all it's flaws, the first one is still superior in my eyes. Haven't tried Diablo 3, yet.

Did you by any chance use Expose Weakness feat on the Beast while you were fighting it? Also, you should be able to finish the quest even if the Beast is dead. What part of the quest are you on?

There is a small bug with the ambassador's dialogue where he doesn't tell you if the elevator is working or not once you give him the trading documents, so we'll fix that for the next update. But, the elevator not actually having power is caused by the old save I'm afraid. The only way to fix it would be to start a new game. Still, you can go around and get to the outpost, but only after you've done the drill quest.
