Bugs / Re: "Strange Tremors" quest has disappeared

Preferably you could upload it to Google Drive/Dropbox or similar and post the link, but you could email it to me (check the icon under my avatar) as well if you'd like and the save is not too large (I think Google has a 25MB limit on attached files).

The Faceless should appear as soon as the quest starts, which happens when the tremors cutscene in Eidein's office occurs; it is not necessary to visit the lab. Also, there is no way (as far as I know) for a quest to disappear. Maybe you didn't receive it at all. Did the cutscene and the dialogue afterwards play out properly? If you still have the save I could take a look at it.

We've changed it so that he leaves after you've finished all of his quests. The man's got more important things to do. ;)

I don't think anyone reported this before, at least as far as I can remember. But yes, it's an issue. That dialog branch will need some minor tweaks, as it appears that specific case wasn't handled properly. Currently there is no way to resolve it on your end, but it shouldn't really affect much else, if anything, from that point onward. :) And sorry for the late response.

Found and fixed the bug. One of the branches in Luben's dialog wasn't properly triggering the flag needed to speak with Tina/Svetlana about the device, which leads to you speaking with Duff. The bug has probably been around for a while, as I haven't really touched that dialog's scripting in a long time and it's easy to not trigger the bug; plus some of the players just didn't want to communicate with those dirty zoners anyway and failed to notice that something was amiss. So until this gets patched you best avoid choosing "I'll let you go if you give me the device and tell me who is behind all this." when speaking with Luben. :)

It's a known bug which has been fixed a while ago, but we still haven't released that patch. More info on how to circumvent this issue in this thread --> http://underrail.com/forums/index.php?topic=2288.0

However, the good news is that this patch could perhaps, maybe - probably arrive quite soon, we hope, so stay tuned.

Mutant, nooooooooooooooooooooooo! How could we ever hope to get on with our lives knowing that Mutated Dog took your life in such a treacherous, savage--

Oh, well. Fixed. :)

I'm still undecided between just fixing this or making it a valid quest outcome. On one side, it's completely unintended (back when this was made NPC's weren't yet reacting to sounds, so it didn't occur to us that something like this could happen) but on the other... it's hardcore! I'll move this to the to-do list for the time being and will think about it some more.
