Calling this game boring or impossible is tantamount to failure. In the game of course.

Well, after you've completed the Depot A, got the circuit board etc., Silas asks you to find an ally (either SGS or the Protectorate). Once you've done that he has a couple more tasks for you. If you're not getting anywhere with Silas, you might have made a mistake somewhere, like I do/did:

I said too much to Eddy at some point and had to go back in the game to ensure I could complete the final quests.

General / Interloper Feat
« on: October 05, 2013, 11:23:22 pm »
Can someone please explain the usage of this feat 'in combat'? I understand how it effects the speed of the stealth skill, but not the 'allows you to retain up to 15 movement points' part.

I find stealth is pretty useless (not a complaint, by any means) where combat is concerned, perhaps I'm missing something. When you initiate combat, from stealth, your come out of stealth. When you use stealth in combat, your rivals can still see you. So why and how can I use these 15 movement points? Is light the key?

Yeah it does seem unfair at first, but sometimes it is, keep with it though. There are a couple of other quests via the guys in the SGS compound you should be doing first. Remember to report back to Hadrian after doing your shooting and such like, he'll tell you who to see next. You should level up a few times before fighting any humans. I also learned the hard way, balancing out all of my skill points, but found it more beneficial to start again and concentrate skill points on specific skills for a while, formulating a strategy/character. I found leaning towards a sneaky archer/hacker/thief (incrementing crossbow and stealth skills amongst others) to my benefit, leaving other disciplines like guns/throwing/traps for later in the game and not really bothering with psi until the endgame. There are many different ways to do it though, that's the beauty of this game, very well thought out. The ability to stun targets is a good thing, and this can be done using melee, bolts, throwing, psi, and/or a combination of more than 1......

Nice work! I was hoping that I'd missed somewhere, like another area behind rocks, but it seems there's only one area like that. Time to dissect the dirty protectorate!

Have you taken out the scrappers with the black eels?

Yeah it was definately my big mouth, I've now finished without the hiccups as peformed last time around. I like how there are clue's in the dialogue, on closer inspection second time around, such as Eddy casually offering 200 charons for information about the black eels wormhole.

Yeah that would have been preferable, but at the time I thought killing him was the only option. I didn't even realise there was a quest available from him until later after reading the wiki. Man that was so long ago :-/. If only I could revive him from the dead

Yeah something's not right. I have a save game in which I've completed every quest apart from save cliff's girlfriend (I shot cliff instead as I didn't have the necessary social points)  and ' find out how the Black Eels are sneaking into the Old Junkyard' (when I speak to eddy he says I've already done this) is completed. I have not asked the support of either SGS or the protectorate at this point. So I've tried getting the support of each faction, individually, then going to see Silas and all that I can ask him are:

1) Tell me about the wormhole
2) Are you the black eel boss

I cannot progress onto the explosive quest at all. My ingame notes have the get support quest unticked in either case, and the 'Find Blaine and find out if there's an alternative way into Scrappers' is red with a red cross through it, which I presume is normal. What to do now I don't know

No I don't know how to start the quest, or receive the explosive from Colton.

General / Problems beginning final quests

I had problems beginning these final two quests in my game:

- Planting Colton's explosives
- Helping Silas beat the scrappers

I had earlier asked the protectorate to help, but could not activate the further missions by speaking to Silas, so I figured I'd just continue and get the SGS to help. After going back a few saves, I've realized that I now have the protectorate and SGS on side to help the black eels, but still can't work out how to activate the final quests. I've spoke to Sila, Contan, Roman, no joy, what's going on? I realise that perhaps having both factions on side may create a problem, but why could I not activate the final  missions before when I had only the protectorate ready to help?

I'm looking forward to a solution, as I've already had to skip way back in my save games once in an effort to complete the quests.
