General / Re: Persuade Free Drones about Lost Train
« on: August 18, 2016, 12:50:16 pm »
NO, the only way to join them is let them take the train.

By the way, your persuasion is way too high before end game progress, and Protectorate quest do have many high persuasion check (up to 90) too, maybe you can try to join them.

Protectorate side's story are interesting too.

General / Re: How do you guys beat the Warehouse?
« on: August 15, 2016, 06:21:49 pm »
If that sniper has a insane damage, then that sniper might use a 12.7mm sniper rifle.

In that case, you should try Caltrops, especially crawler poison caltrops, Dirty Tom sometimes sell them, and might found in random loot.

Caltrops may prevent the sniper doing anything because he doesn't have metal boots and enough AP for 12.7mm sniper rifle.

And also, you should plant many many bear traps in the warehouse(poisoned is better), you will have a lot of time because if you don't talk to agent Henderson, the assault will not began.

Frag or heat mine are some good option too, since they will not trigger bear traps, 5 or 6 MK II set together may kill them instantly, but you might need 20 or 25 trap skill to do so, try your jacknife and trapper's belt, junk yard surprise.

If you set the warehouse to a good enough deathzone, you don't even need to do anything, the enemy will be dead easily. This mission is already be NERFED.

Morphine shot is good too if you have to take that sniper shot, high frequency shield helps.

Locus of Control+Mental Breakdown is a powerful combo too.

And you have final method, be a save scum because every time the enemy will be changed, even in some pattern no sniper will show up.

The most stable way to beat him is simple, Infused siphoner leather boots with quick tinkering.

Since tailoring and quick tinkering are both kind of king of the game, this should be easy enough for any Dexterity 7 player.

Although psi or sledgehammer build may not have Dexterity 7, Infused siphoner leather boots can dodge his net, made you can play with him on so many ways...although you have to kill the beast first.

Sorry I got the wrong idea.

When you cut the payment to 200 charons, your money will "not" be pay to them.

And you also can get extra 200 charons form Principal Investigator Schteff for the robbery, even you already kill them all and get your money back!ha!

Well, it's a very small and minor issue, but I guess you dev guys will want to know.

Since those three zone boys have a crossbow user, pay them first then get a better tactical position might be a better idea, because you can get your money back.

Now there is a problem, you can low the payment by Mercantile, 500 to 200, 1000 to 500, but if you cut the payment to 200, the money will be disappeared, 500 or 1000, then the money still remain on them.

Although I'm not sure you guys' original idea, because at Faceless' stolen object, if you save Hugo by money, the money will not on those bandits.

I'm trying to find the most XP earning way for this quest, so I think...why don't I assassinate one of CAU to get their Long Rubber Glove oddity?(they can't be stolen)

So I use trap to assassinate, because that's the Uncontrolled zones. Dess is dead, the quest still can complete.

But when I go back to report, Dess' ghost speaks....

Well, actually that's just an small issue, cause we all know you dev guys do very well, but another bug is not that small....

See? That coward Fraser just don't sell me any weapon or armor after I get the CAU armor.

I mean, not saying I need them, but that's very wired right? Or this is the design that he won't sell me any armor or weapon, but those shiny WC2 rounds after gas the drones?

I did not try this twice or wait another 90 minutes to see the aftermath, also didn't have the save file.

And also, kill those raider will give you a very nice knife that almost every player will want it, you can kill them all after you have higher level or hack auto turret to make the battle a lot easier.

Did you get Mordre's confess? If not and you kill him without traps, the whole SGS turn hostile.

That Protectorate you see is SGS guard. Are you sure his name has Protectorate title?

I reloaded an old game related to the situation: You are correct. The tag is "Sentry", I confused with him/her with a protectorate guy.

WRT the rest of your reply: I can't remember exactly what happened in the scenario where I would attack Mordre (I remember talking to him with all the proofs in hands (cross-checked with a solution on a forum). Attacking him after he names me a judge would turn the sentry agpro.

Nevertheless, In both cases (Mareth and Mordre) people behaving aggro were not in the same room (or in the case of Mareth, very far away).

SuNo

That's right, Mordre call you a judge is not a confess.

When he confess, he will enter combat by himself. You need 90 Persuasion to do so. And if you have 95, you can let him go without fight too.

Or, use trap to kill him, trap is always a good option in uncontrolled zones, but guns or other method will trigger hostile to that faction.

Bugs / Re: Gauntlet Brains or Brawn bug

Ahhh....I get it, thanks for reply.

There sure is a tip when you enter the room and do nothing but pull the lever, witch all boxes only contain 1 bottle of chemical but still turn the lights on.

Then all chemical have "4" bottle and you have "4" box to fill. Means maybe there is a possibility that only one chemical is the answer, and you have to fill all boxes with same chemical.

So this is not a bug.

Maybe I should fill this to wiki, but you understand my typo....sorry for my poor English, you always help me a lot on typo and grammar.

So this is a bug or not?

Or should I separate one of those three chemicals to different boxes?

So the room give me 7 Components, Acid,  Burrower Poison,  Unsaturated Psionic Catalyst, Midazolam,  Morphine,  Blood, Black Vitreous.

But there are just 3 of them let lights turn yellow or green....

I thought it was my fault for try too many times so the game punished me for this, but when I try another run, there's no limit for trying. I try about ten times so I can get the key, even the "Brawn Gate" is opened.

I'm pretty sure this is a bug but I don't have the save file, sorry.
