Perception does not directly affect your chance to hit, but rather increases your ""ranged weapon skills"" ,  Versatility  is affected by the  number of the higher effective skill (60% to 80%), so PER is only needed to unlock specific feats, only STR or DEX along with skill specialization directly affect the secondary weapon's effectiveness and damage... 
If melee reaches 350+, Guns/Crossbow can reach 280+, even with 3 of PER.

Automatic firearms bursts usually consume more AP and have naturally reduced accuracy, as the shotgun is a naturally multi-shot weapon its max accuracy is reduced by not having a single shot mode, so the effectiveness of the shotgun is greatly affected by armor penetration and evasion, The choice of ammunition can vary damage from 0 to 300 (hypothetically) per shot according to the enemy, as the final damage is the sum of small fragments of damage that may or may not exceed armor and evasion value.

Yelow pellet= more hits less penetration> good for evasive and low armor enemies.
Green= it's a middle ground>good for groups and unspecialized defense enemies
Red= more penetration less hits>good for heavy armor enemies and robots
Tungsten= Good for everything since it causes daze / stun and has the highest armor penetration, in compensation it is very rare, heavy and expensive.

Shotgun looks much better after taking the feats, especially leading shot, + try to vary the ammo according to enemy red = high armor, green = medium armor, yellow = low armor

The AP reduction that result from DEX works great with SMG, and MAYBE works better than shotgun for your build.

Riot gear/sword or iron grip spear-> Riot shield + (guard spear or Parry) + guard and high strength can trivialize melee enemies, but you still need to invest in evasion and a long range attack alternative (PSI or knife throwing, pistols are ineffective without a reasonable investment), make sure you get "Ballistics" (very useful with riot as it adds 6 DT after riot bonus) this build works beter with CON tnx riot armor penalties, you can choose from (6 AGI + Sprint) or (3 AGI + 55 Temporal).


leather armor max agility and strength throwing spear-> If you take the AGI route make sure you take at least 10 for Blitz and at most 13 for Expert Sprint, pump dodge and evasion to the max, melee and throwing to the max, 50~125 Biology to make poison throwing knifes for incapacitate PSI users, "Uncanny Dodge" for melee defense, 5 minimum INT for "Cheap Shots", and

S>16 D>8 A>10 (Blitz+Fatal Throw+ Quick Tinkering + Fancy Footwork) or
S>15 D>6 A>13 (Expert Sprint + 55 Temporal + Adrenaline Shot + Blitz = INSANE Action Points)

There are two very different styles of gameplay and both can be fun if well balanced in defense and attack.

This build can work with swords also just swap "sixth Shell" for "Expose Weakness" (swords really need this skill to function properly)
 and "Impale" for "Flurry" and you're ready to go.

hello guys i'm theorizing this build to start a dominatig run and would like to optimize as much as possible, would there be any crucial adjustments that can be made?

The build is based on crafting, SMG burst, (nimble + deflection + Tabi boots + uncanny dodge = 15 melee deflected strikes), unarmed melee to remove 50% mechanical defense and incapacitate targets, pickpocketing + mercantile for ammo cost maintenance, (Temporal Manipulation +Tabi boots + Adrenaline + Blitz),  and later some Plasma grenades and plasma mines.

The combination looks dangerous but if you find yourself stuck in the flames use Stasis as a panic button and have 2 more immunity turns to think of a way to not turn into a barbecue :P

During the game you will find items that increase hack 20 points and lockpicking 27 points so you can remove some points from these skills. And you can also save 15% on all your craft skills as you can earn a bonus on those skills when you buy craft tables.

your build looks very interesting but thanks to its low perception/detection I strongly recommend that you invest some points in traps or you will suffer a lot, and due to your low constitution PSI users are VERY problematic and need to be eliminated primarily or stunned somehow (grenades, dirty kick can help) Stealth is essential to gaining the edge in battle you need to reinforce the skill with sneaky equipment to avoid psi disabling at the beginning of the battle, but that's just my opinion your game your rules :D

thanks for your feedback, i really like to have lockpiking or hack in my builds for personal taste, not only for the loot but for access to locked areas, as for metatermics you have an excellent point, i will reevaluate exchanging as many points spent on metatermics being that I only use it as a support for more efficient grenades.
And no, PER has no influence on damage or accuracy in versatility all upgrades come directly from melee effective points (60% of dominant skill or 80% with especialization reaching 288 effective points MAX approximately), so just adding STR and Leading Shot generates some impact on shotgun effectiveness and sixth shell+ full auto on damage on this build at least.

ps:exotermic aura fire imunity sounds fun with napalm grenades :D

I only tested this build on Hard, but I see no reason why it won't work on dominating dificulty.
The Relative low accuracy of shotgun resolves with increased STR by food + adrenaline shot + leading shot,  "six shot" and "Full auto" greatly increase the damage.
Criokinesis and Bear traps helps a lot too.

70 points if u want stasis or 55 if u dont, in Temporal Manipulation + (Psycho Temporal feat)
the feats and skills left are personal choices.
