[1.1.2.3] Talos Outpost massive lags and CTD
« on: August 15, 2020, 08:59:06 am »
When trying to complete "Liberate rassophores" quest, I start the fight with Faceless and without entering turn mode, my character can't move anymore(after killing some enemies other Faceless begin to investigate noise source). In some cases after beginning my fight from the base entry point (with 2 plasma turrets) I invoke Force Field and game crashes on the next turn.

Tried several times to fight with FF at the entrance point and after 3 CTD's managed to win without it.

What computer are you playing it on?
i7-6400T 4/8(qhqg engineering version), 16GB Ram, GTX1070.
Usually don't have any CTD's or outofmemmory errors.

Ok, I added some further limitation on how much memory pathfinding can allocate, so hopefully now it will not exceed the 32-bit process limit.

As for the player getting stuck in those situations, I'll address this in the next major update probably as it would be too big of a change to release without extended testing.
