As of the more recent updates (1.1.4.x and 1.1.5.x), the game has become unplayable due to severe input lag and extremely low FPS when riding a jet ski, as well as in some larger new areas (e.g., the abandoned waterway facility, the utility tower), and in the random waste disposal facility dungeon due to the constant explosions. This performance issue is recent and wasn't occurring on the legacy (1.1.1.6) branch. Switching to turn-based mode temporarily resolves the issue, but the game slows down again immediately upon returning to real-time mode. My PC is a 3.2 GHz i5-4460, 8 GB RAM, 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti running Windows 7. I've disabled all antivirus/antimalware programs, including Windows Defender, and it makes no difference. I am not using Cheat Engine, nor am I running any resource-intensive programs in the background (CPU and RAM utilization are both well below max while the game is running). Lowering the game resolution, changing to windowed mode, etc. appears to make little or no difference.
