How important is agility with tincans?

Im currently running a heavy weapons build and i am wondering if the sprint skill is really worth the 6 points in agility since with my 3 dex and 100% armor penalty my initiative is in the toilet and i get zero MP even with striders

For ranged tanks, Id dump agi and forget about it.  If you really need mp you can eat jumping beans and even take the drifter tattoo.  For melee tanks, I'd try to get 7 for sprint and hit & run.
