My issue with fishing is that you cannot get more than a couple bites in a spot before you can't fish there any more.
It's very pain staking to try and get anything by fishing, since it's time consuming and, not very fun, requires you to change zones frequently.
IMO increase the amount of bites in an area by a large factor, and increase the time between fish bite.
That way i can theory craft or organize inventory, while fishing in the background.
Otherwise fishing is just not worthwhile.
