I have helped faceless near foundry, injured faceless and let rail crossing mind reader go, having killed only the 3 faceless in buzzer's shop.
Later I have killed the small faceless group in the cave near core city merchant district. When I went to Deep Caverns, I had over 300 effective Thought Control skill so I assumed that I would be able to hide my kills from mindreader via the relatively recently added TC check but after getting my mind read at Talos, commander instead became neutral to me as if TC check was ignored.
Killing numerous faceless (over 20) at the core city baricade appears to work properly - tc check at talos allows to hide player's kills at the baricade and still end up with friendly relations. Possible explanation is that Thought Control check doesn't work with killing faceless in cave near core city for some reason.
