During the Find Hephaestus Research quest, I hid to avoid the burrowers.
I went through the gate, where a poor dead man was stuck beneath it, and entered the second map.
There, I manipulated the console to open another gate.
I activated stealth and placed a TNT charge right in front of the rocks where the blinded Protectorate expedition members were trapped.
Then, I stepped back and waited for the burrowers to eat everyone.
After that, I returned to Colonel Cathcart and Oliver, but they didn't say anything related to the quest.
I couldn’t proceed with the quest any further, and I was also unable to skip to the part where you gas the drones.
