Freezing, no music

when i launch underrail 1.3.0.17 there is no music in the main menu, the game will freeze and then crash. If a save is loaded there is once again no ambient music, and the game will freeze randomly and usually crash, crash logs attached below

If you were able to run the game on this system fine before, I'd look into making a exception for underrail.exe in your Anti-Virus.

added an exception in malware bytes & windows defender but the issue persists, the game ran fine around late 2023 but started doing this when i went to replay it and do the heavy duty dlc

Maybe try a full reinstall. You're saves are safe as they are stored in the Documents\My Games.

full reinstall worked for one session but relaunching breaks it again

I have a feeling some AV is removing some of the game's files (like that DLL mentioned in the error).

both csfml dlls are in the folder still, and both my avs have an exception for underrail
