Recorded video round for a remote job
« on: October 13, 2026, 11:40:31 am »
I’m switching from teaching to customer support, and a remote company just sent me a recorded video round. Seven questions, ninety seconds each, no live person at all. I’ve done a lot of classroom talking, but talking to a blank screen is something else. I either freeze or ramble past the time limit. How did you prepare? Did you write out answers word for word, or use some kind of structure? And how much does the background and lighting matter?
