Bought the game of Desura in Jan 2013...

As in topic. I've bought the game ages ago and wanted to check the progress just to find out about Desura going bankrupt.
Can't login on their site now or reset the password to get a STEAM key.

Is there any way to retrieve the game or I'm basically too late and #%$ed?

All I've got is confirmation mail from Desura that I bought it.

Doesn't seem to be totally down but I can't get my password to work. Was trying to reset it twice but the reset procedure mail ain't coming to my inbox (yea, I've checked spam etc).

Are you using the app or logging straight into the website?

They've site has been offline for a time, but I just managed to log in.

Hey Styg, thanks for the answer but I'm still having the problem. I've been trying all my possible passwords I've been using for years and nothing seems to work. Still I could forget as the account was made in 2011.
The biggest problem though is that I can't RESET it.

Could someone try to reset the password just to see if Desura mails are going out at all? You don't need to confirm the reset of course.

I would be grateful.

I've got around 4 variations of passwords I've been using for years. None is working. Was trying with uppercase etc.
Without a reset I'm out of ideas.

Several weeks have passed since the first post was made but I'm able to login as of the 3rd September.

Get your STEAM keys whilst you can; I don't think Gabe is going anywhere, well....Valve isn't at least.


It's none of my business really but I guess Desura never settled what they owe Styg & Co?

I'm not a lawyer but isn't it a breach of terms for them to continue selling your game with no intention/possibility of them paying up?

What happens to Desura purchasers of Underrail currently? Do they still get a key, etc?

Can you not remove the game files / store page from your side Styg?


Personally I regret buying from them - I would've preferred a direct payment option at the time; as I did with Knights of the Chalice.

You'll be last in a rather long line of creditors I suppose; at least a 70-30 split with STEAM is better than nothing.
