Broken wall sections and sledgehammer

Hello.

I find surprising that you cannot demolish certain broken wall sections using a sledgehammer. I guess this is intentional but odd.
For instance, the broken wall section at the storage floor of GMS compound. There are two doors requiring hacking 50.

You can do it with a sniper rifle though, or any firearm using W2C rounds that can deal over 349 damage without crits.

I think it would be actually possible to achieve that much even before Depot A and get access to everything early.

Snipe from 12.7 Harbinger with smart module and smart goggles should be enough.

Going to try while I still can.
