If you're talking about latchers, I've only ever seen insectoid salivaria drop from them.

wrong. there are at least 1 guaranteed box in which you can find a cloaking device. in my 2 last playthroughts i found the item  on the same box.

Thanks all, so far I've found very high quality Core and Deflector, just need to find the Stabilizer to build my cloaking device (I have some black cloth as well, hopefully will be lucky to try some stealth tactics before the game ends)

I've also found some batteries and very protective biohazard suit, so far so good...

For posterity, you can find exactly one pre-crafted cloaking device in the game to my knowledge. It's inside Bogdan's hideout in the Drop Zone.

Batteries as are the one plentiful resource in DC, I remember seeing one bio hazard vest but when I tried to find it I didn't see it again
