Crash on save

So far the game has crashed every time I have tried to save.  I am running in Administrator mode (I had to to get past the start screen).  Everything else seems to work fine, though I haven't had much of a chance to explore.

Hmm, that's weird. Could it be that you are out of space on your hard drive?

If you managed to start the game, then it's not a matter of not having privileges to write to that location.

Plenty of space on the hard drive.  Unless the save files take up more than 30GB .  I'm pretty up-to-date on drivers and whatnot.  If I get it to work I'll let you know what I did.

Did you use setup.exe to install the game?

Yep.  The installation program lets you install it for just yourself or for everyone.  I tried both ways, but no difference.  I have tried different compatibility settings (run as XP, Vista), but no difference.  I have tried saving in different levels, but it always crashes.  This is not a problem I have had with any other program - my setup is otherwise stable - but I'm not ruling out some problem on my end.

I also applied the patch for the transition problem, just for kicks.  Still crashes on save.

Could you try running this program before starting the game:

And then once it crashes copy the log from DebugView and send it to me.

Done.  I sent it to admin@underrail.com.  If you'd rather me attach it here in the future, I can do that.

The problem occurs when you're running resolution higher than 2048 it crashes as it attempts to take a screenshot.

As a workaround, I'll upload the patched .EXE to IndieDB that will skip the screenshot in that case.

I had an issue after 3-4 hours of playtime. During sving it said "unable to save game" or smth and then crashed during zone transition. Quitting and loading last save (which saved normally despite the message) fixed the issue. And i havent had pics while loading saves while it havemt. Just black rectangles.
