Carrier Vests

Ok, playing though the alpha Right now, got the tactical and metal armour instructions, but I cannot find anything for the carrier vest they require in construction. I also havnt seen any for sale anywhere? is their a vendor that normally has the design for them?

You don't tend to see those until Junkyard, though if you're lucky the armory might stock a low level one.

To me, the worst part is that the icon for carrier vests and some vest armors is the same, so you have to make sure it is either a component or an armor... It would be really nice if there were recipes for carrier vests, so you could make your own out of fabric or something.

Just found them the other day, always must of just skimmed over them as they look the same as the Tactical vests>

They really need a new icon, the Tactical vests that is.

But ya, new Designs for self made Carrier vests would be good, more variations as well!

Putting backlight for different types of items would be pretty good. Like red for weapons, blue for armor, green for ammo, yellow for utilized items, purple for components and grey for scraps.

Yea, that would be very good.

Would work very well if it was an option as well (as theirs always gonna be the people that like the old school way), But for organizing, I think it would be best to have a selection title, eg. "Weapons" and then have the weapons lay'ed out in standard style, then repeat for other types. This would also solve the cluttered inventory system, without having different colored icons that may distract from the dark, neutral colored theme.

But then again, you can show only a certain kind of item using the show only drop down at the top of the inventory screen. I have never been a fan of that kind of organization though. Ha, maybe I'm just asking for too much xD

thats true, I hardly ever take note of that drop down thing, my brain seams to think that looking though my inventory for something, not finding it, and buying one and then finding a stack in my inventory is better xD

Where did you find the Carrier vest then or maybe a vendor who sells it ?
I`m still looking but didn`t find it yet.....

I think I found them around the Garbage, Look for a 'Tactical vest' that has no Mechanical Damage resistance properties I think....

Also there is other kind of carrier vest later in a game.

Two other types of vests so far, I believe.
The Galvanic type vest and, my personal favorite, the regeneration vest.
Love that one, I do.
