Uploading footage to YouTube?
« on: March 15, 2013, 08:26:31 am »
Hi,

I just purchased the alpha access.

I was thinking of recording my first experience with the game, with audio commentary.

I was hoping it could help get a steam greenlight, and also provide Styg with some feedback.

I just wanted to check if this is permitted.

If I remember correctly Styg even encourages this type of spreading the word ;).

But just to be sure you can wait for confirmation by the man himself.

That's awesome.

And I will wait for official approval.

As maheusz said, it's not only allowed but encouraged.

I love when people upload their gameplay videos as it generates additional interest in the game and is also just about the most valuable type of feedback I can get. :)

This is what I like about Indie Devs, they see the benefits in free advertisement instead of worries about sale figures (not only that but they understand that Let's Players is one of the widest advertisement medium on the internet).
