(Spoilers) Reef Rider?

Is there any particular importance attached to the Reef Rider, just a Yes/No would suffice, its engine and battery are apparently plot items despite being described as junk (I guess I'll try taking them to Ray's), though the main problem is I can't see any way to retrieve it without leaving another Jetski behind. I guess the best approach is to "swap" it for the Junk Jet?

It can be sold for at least 15000 charons, or more if your merchandise skills is high enough.

You can tow jets and more, with some jet... And also, you can sell Reef Rider for 50 000 k with good Mercantile skill check. I did just for test, he accepted 40 k offer... But I didnt have too high Mercantile. Guess it's possible to sell it up to 50k.

Is it possible to repair the battery and engine, or find non-broken versions? The engine at least seems to be really good for a Size 1/Light part, that and I want to cruise around on authentic Lemurian  hardware  .

I have talked to Ray myself, I think you have to have some Mercantile skills which is not my case.
