Some quests really do need minutae details to solve them, its impossible to memorize all of these especially when you explore a zone and start many quests at once. You would have to write everything, down to every conversation in notepad. A dialog log is necessary with quests as complex as in underrail. It might not benefit veterans much, but for new players it could be a godsend.
