The arrival of main expedition forces with Chief Briggs can be completely skipped if you get jetskie before joining the expedition -> AGI check to climb a monolith -> stealth steal pirates jetskie (without triggering them hostile) -> steal aegis jetskie -> join pirates. Several events will be bugged in this way.
