Hidden Effects
« on: June 07, 2014, 07:32:33 pm »
Can any devs (or anyone who is very, very confident about this) tell me if there are, or if there ever will be, any hidden effects on items/effects?

In some games there are items which don't tell the full range of their effects- as an example there would be legendary items or items with flavor text that hint at an ability but don't explicitly tell you via text.

I wanted to know if there would be anything like that in this.

Hey, it just occurred to me that Rathound Regalia is probably a perfect example of what you meant - a unique item with flavor text and and stuff. It's not explicitly mentioned in the item stats, but wearing it makes rathounds friendly towards you.

Oh, wow, I didn't know that! That's a great example.

It also makes the Camp hostile toward you.
