Your non-critical crossbow, melee and bullet-based firearm attacks deal additional mechanical damage equal to your level, up to maximum 20 bonus damage. |
Expertise is a feat. Whenever a character with expertise deals mechanical damage with a non-critical firearm, crossbow, or melee hit, the character's level is added to the damage.
Whenever a single attack deals multiple discrete numbers of mechanical damage (such as burst or spiked combat gloves), expertise applies to each of them.
