Snooping is a feat.

Feat

Snooping feat icon Snooping
Increases perception by 3 for the purpose of detecting hidden passages and other secrets.

Finding secret areas can be a surprisingly large source of experience and good loot, making this feat a useful choice for characters without high perception.

It does not increase your detection value, so it doesn't help you detect stealthed characters or traps.

Note that Underrail: Expedition expansion adds a large number of consumables that temporarily increase Perception and allow any character to unlock most secrets (although some of them much later than otherwise), if you already know where to look.

Specializations

  • Snooping (2 levels) — Further increases perception for specified purpose by 1 for each specialization point.
