Professor Oldfield has tasked you with exploring one of the abandoned Lemurian facilities.
Objectives
- Investigate Crimson Meadow Horticulture Center, located at coordinates H7. Report your findings to Professor Oldfield.
- A gate in Crimson Meadow Horticulture Center is blocking your path. There is a console next to it, but it is covered in thick roots whose removal by burning or brute force might damage the console. Find some other way to get rid of this overgrowth.
Walkthrough
The entrance of Crimson Meadow Horticulture Center lies at coordinates H7. If you can't jump over the gap (8 Agility) or push debris aside (10 Strengh), make a detour through the underground passage in either H6 or H8. There is an entrance at H8 in the southeast corner. It can be hard to spot because red flora blends in with the transition zone.
Use the elevator to enter Level 1. The inner cultivation area is infected with Locust Hives. A gate blocks your way to the south, but thick roots are preventing you from using the gate control console next to it.
To access Level 2, take another elevator in the middle of map. Storage Block is divided into three parts. Cryovault 1a (north) is inhabited with Giant Crabs. Cryovault 1b (south) is filled with cryogas and some inactive Strongmen which will become powered up once player enters the storage. Cryovault 1c (west) has become the nest of Giant Creepers. You can find some Pesticide in the storage of Cryovault 1b, which can be used to craft Pesticide Gas Grenade. You can also find some Pesticide Gas Grenades and more Pesticide in Cryovault 1c. The gate to Cryovault 1c can be unlocked with either Hacking or Cryovault 1c Keycard (Crimson Meadow Horticulture Center) found in Cryovault 1b.
Return to Level 1 and remove the vines with pesticide gas grenade (2000 classic XP / 2 oddity XP). There, you will find more coordinates of Lemurian facilities on a dispatch console behind the gate. You can now leave the facility and report your findings to Professor Oldfield.
