Tchortist Recombinants are sledgehammer-wielding juggernauts, the primary melee combatants among the rassophores of Preservation Forces.
Background
Recombinants are relatively new additions to Preservation, these soldiers were artificially enhanced through genetic recombination, a project that was lead by Investigator Gustav, and was officially revealed at the annual symposium in the 96th year of the Institute. It is unclear who took over following Gustav's death, but related paperwork is handled by Principal Investigator Rista of the genetics department.
They are exclusively male.
Description
In combat, Recombinants are fairly sturdy enemies. They wear a random helmet, and while their armor can't be looted, it seems to be a stronger version of the standard Tchortist Rassophore Armor that provides 60%/35 Mechanical, 10 Acid, and 50%/15 Bio resistances.
Thanks to the Conditioning feat, Recombinants also enjoy an additional 19% Mechanical, Heat, and Cold damage reduction that can be lowered by up to 5% with Hypothermia.
