Mutants are badly mutated humans first encountered in Old Junkyard.
Description
Mutants are very dangerous foes. Unlike the less mutated Junkyard Muties and smaller Mutated Dogs, these mutants have become completely immune to acid that has burnt them into the unrecognizable beasts they are. They are often encountered with packs of mutated dogs.
They mainly attack with their claws, but they are capable of spraying bursts of acid at range and intimidating their enemies to lower their combat effectiveness. Like all acid mutants, they bleed acid in 3x3 tile grid around them when taking damage. Their heavily mutated bodies make them immune to any Acid and Bio damage.
Origins |
They were created by Biocorp's mutagen experiments, specifically with a mutagen known as D5. Mutagen experiments were being done in Depot A area and in some of Core City's old Biocorp facilities, such as in Core City Underground. |
