Naga Protector is an automaton in Underrail: Expedition expansion.
Description
Cobra-headed war bots designed specifically to defend NFT facilities from intruders, Naga protectors are the most powerful robots made by NFT and are some of the most dangerous enemies in the game. They are virtually indestructible with high Mechanical, Electricity, Heat and Energy resistances in addition to extremely high health. For offense, they have powerful melee attacks and can fire a powerful plasma projectile similar to the ones fired by the Devastator's Fusion Cannon from their mouths, making them deadly at any range.
Thankfully, Nagas are rare, with only a small handful of them existing in the entire game.
Fighting Tactics
Essentially, some tricks that work on other robots will not work on Naga Protectors. As with other NFT robots, W2c ammunition or any means of bypassing their high damage resistance will be a huge boon. They can also still be Short Circuited like other robots by using EMP Grenades and lightning based attacks. They have an electricity damage threshold of 50, so some of the usual electricity stuns may have difficulty actually affecting them.
Particularly crafty and resourceful characters aligned with Professor Oldfield and Aegis Incorporated may be able to reactivate one of these powerhouses to help fend off the Sørmirbæren and the Grim Jetters.
