Tumors are the seeds sown by Tchortling Sowers with the special ability Tchort Goo Spray.

Description

These tumors grow into Tentacles if not destroyed promptly.

Fighting tactics

Destroying a tumor is easy in theory, but not so much in practice. They grow into tentacles extremely rapidly, within a single turn. This means whether you get the chance to get rid of them depends on the turn order. If your turn came before the Sower's, the tumors will finish growing by the time you get to act again.

Tumors, lacking a brain, are immune to Thought Control abilites, and similarly immune to all debuffs and status effects.

It is not possible to set tiles with tumors on fire. However it is possible for tumors to grow on tiles which already are. In this case they will take damage from the fire normally.

While area attacks are good for dealing with tumors, keep in mind that Cryokinetic Orb will never hit them.

When a tumor is destroyed, it will spill an acid puddle that deals Bio damage to all adjacent unoccupied tiles, and on any of these tiles there is a chance a new tumor will form.
