Era of old Biocorp
- Centuries ago
- The Underrail is created by the original Biocorp
- The dangers of the outside world were deemed too great, Underrail was to be made into a completely self-sustaining environment
- 150-200 years ago — Hollow Earth Incident
- Underrail became unable to sustain its large population
- Questions of immoral experiments and corruption were raised
- Phenotype Dynamics project plays a large role in the incident
- Revolts occur everywhere, marking the end of the old Biocorp
- Over 100 years ago
- Experiments likely related to Project Ark and Phenotype Dynamics are performed in Depot A
- 100 years ago
- Eidein discovers Tchort in Deep Caverns
- Formation of Institute of Tchort in the abandoned Old Biocorp University
Era of reformed Biocorp
- 50-100 years ago
- Biocorp was resurrected by a group of scientists and engineers
- Old places of power restored: Core, Hexagon and Dis
- Biocorp Security Forces are established to maintain peace

- Protectorate takes over Dis, Biocorp's capital

- Core City riots occur, days of reformed Biocorp are numbered
- Archibald Knight of Biocorp Security founds Praetorian Security
- Rupert Simmons founds Coretech as a successor to Biocorp
- Biocorp's final dissolution

- Civil war on Core City's streets subsides

- Significant earthquake occurs, parts of Underrail are blocked off and new passages open
Present day
- The player completes Tanner's tests and joins South Gaters
- Cornell acquires a mysterious cube-like object that belongs to the Faceless
- The Faceless dispatch patrols to find the artifact, North and South Underrail are cut off from each other
- Coretech acquires the artifact for testing, but Tchortists steal it shortly afterwards
- The Faceless invade Institute of Tchort in force
