Suggestions / Right click options menu

Hello.

I think it would be real nice if right clicking on an item (an equipped weapon for instance) would bring up a options menu where you could select several options: equip, unequip, repair, reload, dissassemble, recharge, etc

Hello.

Running v1.0.1.10 under Win10 x64.

WARNING: Some spoilers below...








1. When going to the Protectorate embassy at junkyard, coming from Karim's bar, someone may approach you to say that Abram needs your help once more (getting "Free Maura" quest). If you are currently walking to the embassy, your character will walk to the embassy but actually will face north while walking. This is funny.

2. After getting the Armadillo Drill part, and talking to merchants in junkyard, you still have a conversation line to ask for it.

3. There are a lot of other dialogue lines that get repeated ad nauseam (like asking for the missing SGS merchants). I think the game should purge some lines when they are at a dead's end.

This must be a bug.



When choosing the Persuade option (I haven't invested in persuasion) I got a violent response (FAIL), but nothing happens. Combat isn't trigering. I can still talk to them afterwards.

General / Requesting pistol build from Wildan

(Or how to be an annoying pest for poor Wildan  :P)

I am asking for this particular build because I am quite intrigued about pistol viability when compared to SMGs after latest v1.0.1.10.

IMHO SMGs are way better than pistols, but I just want to find a viable pistol build (I know it can be done).

I am wondering if I am missing something. Required AP to shoot has not changed since going from DEX 8 to DEX 10. If I had would known better I would have invested in something else.

Bugs / [1.0.1.8] Opening a door and then initiating combat

Hello.

I don't know whether this "issue" qualifies as a bug or not but here it goes anyway.

It doesn't apply to 1.0.1.8 version only either but that is the version I currently have got.

When you open a door (I am usually stealthed) and then initiate combat using ENTER key, your AP points are half depleted or so.

Annoying to say the least.

General / Corpses near doorways

Hello.

When a body (corpse) is near a doorway it is almost impossible to click on it (you will just open/close the door). Any ideas?

Tooltips with new font aren't helping either.

Any ideas?

1. Put a button in Feat list to be able to sort it alphabetically.

2. Pistol Feat: Headshot.

A headshot requires the target to be no further than 3 squares; it's done at 50% penalty to hit (flat discount) and it does 250% normal damage.
Cooldown: 4 turns. To make it less accessible, maybe it would require both Aimed shot and PER 10.

Yes. I know this resembles a lot the "execute" feat or "snipe" for pistol. But this one doesn't require the target to be stunned.

General / Quick question about Expertise feat.

Does Expertise stack up/applies retroactively? I mean, do you have to take it at level 1 or would it pay off even if taken later?

Just trying a strange pistol build. Yes, to me pistols need a lot of love.

General / My SMG/Sniper build

Hello guys.

After watching Nerd Commando's Spec Ops video tutorial on Youtube I have decided to make a slightly different build than his.

Here's what I got:

STR 3
DEX 10
AGI 5
CON 3
PER 10
WIL 3
INT 6

Initial feats were Expertise (mandatory) and Aimed shot (you could swap this one for another favorite one).
Guns, throwing, stealth, hacking, lockpicking, traps, mechanical, electronics, tailoring

You can invest probably in evasion too, when you think you are ready. I am building crafting feats first.

For crowd control I heavily use caltrops, grenades and traps (got the sure step feat, but you can swap it too if you don't like it)

Put two points to strength at levels 4, 8 (we are handling sniper rifles). Or leave as is for later and grab Dragunov (no STR req.)

Later feats are up to you but I usually take opportunist, sniper, spec ops, sharpshooter; and maybe, suppresive fire, commando, grenadier, nimble...

Get your hands on some nice 5mm and 7,62mm SMGs. Swap them as needed. With DEX 10 you can shoot a 5mm Jaguar an insane six times per round and you can burst twice (even without the spec ops feat). 5mm is okay for earlier game and for most organic enemies.

Swap to a bigger caliber for tougher fights. When your crafting level is high enough you can craft your own custom SMGs. Meanwhile grab a 8,6mm steel cat if you can (you can still shoot it four times per round). It does a decent amount of damage for DT enemies.

Later, when you reach Junkyard looking for the Armadillo chip thingy, get your hands on some 7,62mm sniper rifle (e.g. don't get any sniper if it needs more than 35 AP to shoot: the reason, you can start combat probably deleting some enemy with a snipe and you still have some AP points left to perform any other action or even reposition yourself). If you have been investing in crafting you can even craft a semi-decent 7,62mm sniper rifle at this point. I was lucky enough to get my hands on some smart modules and anatomically aware scopes. So nice for extra critical damage.

Other gear includes any googles you might like (wearing improved critical chance ones) and a siphoner leather made by me. Get Tabi boots as soon as you see them (we are starved for AGI...)

PS - Keep in mind that I am playing easy difficulty. YMMV.
