Sledgehammers are the heavy hitters of melee weapons. They require high strength to use, ignore mechanical damage threshold (but not resistance) of living targets and also have a chance to stun their target.
Despite not ignoring the damage threshold of robotic targets, sledgehammers are still effective against them, since damage is done in large spikes compared to other melee weapons. Sledgehammers can also be crafted with an electroshock generator, further increasing their combat performance against robots.
Crafting
Sledgehammer can be crafted with Blueprint: Sledgehammer.
