Dr. Austein was a researcher of Old Biocorp who worked at Mutagen Tanks in the Deep Caverns. Together with Maria Hope, he was working on mutagen projects and human research. At some point he made one of his test subjects, a mutant called Otis into his personal assistant which led later to his conflict with Dr. Hope.

His assistant Otis later led successful rebellion of test subjects against the Biocorp researchers. In its aftermath, Austein was implied to have been thrown into the mutagen tanks together with other Biocorp scientists. |
