Nadbojvod Jarkov Mochnik is the supreme leader of West Underrail, nadbojvod being his official title as the highest ranking general of its military. Known as a stern but fair leader, Mochnik's politics revolve first and foremost around ensuring the Fatherland's safety from outside threats, in stark contrast with the North Underrail Protectorate's expansionism, or South Underrail's "every station for itself" mentality. If descriptions of him are to be believed, Mochnik displays many values held in high regard in the west: nationalism, traditionalism, understanding the importance of family, being a hospitable head of his household, and having an impressive mustache. He married once, and has many children to continue his line.
His likeness is featured in the bills of Fatherland's currency Zlatortiya.
