Thomas Harding was a former colleague and friend of Jerre Franz. About eight years ago he traveled to South Underrail for business related reasons. During his stay he made acquaintances with several members of the Institute of Tchort, presumably made possible by the medical export agreement signed by the Institute and Core City's oligarchy earlier that year. The conversations he had with the at the time still Assistant Minister Percival on Tchortist ideology made a very strong impression on Harding, who upon his return to Dis enthusiastically described his encounter with this single beacon of light in the sea of southern degeneracy to his friend.
Soon afterwards Harding was killed in a bombing attack carried out by the Free Drones.
