Redd was a citizen of SGS, and the husband of Arlene. He died in Mushroom Cove during the station war between Omega and SGS. Mortally wounded, he fell into the Celeritas river. His body was never recovered.
At some point before his death, Redd commissioned Ezra for a pair of tracker-emitter necklaces for himself and Arlene. His half of the pair can be fished out in the Siphoner Pools.
