Shield Arm is a feat.

Shield Arm | |
Increases the chance to block with shields by 15% (additive) and the amount blocked by 30%. | |
Requirements

Improves riot shields of Riot Gear armors. No effect on other sources of block. Not related to Energy Shields.
- Block chance from different sources does not stack. Each block chance is rolled separately against blockable attacks.
- Multiple different blocks can trigger against a single attack, in which case their amount blocked stacks additively.
- Sources of block:
- Riot Shield (35-55%) (See also Shield Arm, Shield Bash, Boarding Up)
- Spear Guard (50-100%) (See also Fend, Spear Guardian)
- Parry (25-96%) (See also Riposte)
- Guard (35-45%)
- Boxing Gloves (15-100%)
- Cryo-shield (50%)
Specializations
- Shield Arm: Block Chance (5 levels) — Further increases the block chance by 1% for each specialization point.
- Shield Arm: Block Amount (10 levels) — Further increases the amount blocked by 2% for each specialization point.
